Alpha Arietis is a conceptual beat tape by producers Myke Forte & Kosyne, the intention was to make a feature complete project utilizing the Roland SP303 and SP404 family of samplers with as little DAW involvement as necessary.

What came out of the exercise were eclectic beats spanning the instrumental hiphop sphere ranging from raw sample chops to futuristic off kilter synth offerings.

Originally starting life in the mid 2010's and in an effort to be dropped in Kos and Mykes share birthday month of April the project was on perma hiatus until 03-04-2024 when Myke hit Kos up with the challenge of an emergency style turnaround of finishing the project.

Kos firing up his old old laptop and hitting Den family "Ayepee" fka Apatight for a red alert mastering session; Ap turned the files over just as the clock rolled over for Myke's birthday and Arietis was recaptured from the cosmos!.
